La Crescent Chiropractor

Hi, I’m Dr. Erin Miller. My chiropractic story began in Des Moines, IA., where I grew up with my parents and older sister, Amy. I was home on break from DePauw University when my dad suggested I visit his chiropractor for some shoulder pain I had been experiencing. I was terrified to go but decided to give it a try. After my first adjustment I became fascinated with chiropractic. At each adjustment my chiropractor would teach me more about the true health benefits of chiropractic care beyond just back pain. The philosophy made perfect sense to me. After shadowing him and seeing his passion for chiropractic and the positive results achieved, I became inspired to become a chiropractor myself.

I attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA., where I graduated with honors. While at Palmer I had the opportunity to travel to Vietnam through the Clinic Abroad Program and help provide free chiropractic care to thousands of people. I completed an internship in Des Moines, IA., where I was able to gain knowledge in patient management and hands on experience in a chiropractic office. I have attended numerous workshops and seminars and am dedicated to enhance my knowledge of the Gonstead System of chiropractic.

In my spare time I enjoy traveling, reading, theatre, working out and spending time with family and friends. New to the Coulee Region, I am anxious to explore the area and become involved in the community. My mission is to help others achieve and maintain health through specific chiropractic care.

Dr. Wood Asks some important questions of interest to La Crescent residents - Chiropractor La Crescent Dr. Wood Asks...

How come medical doctors don't recommend chiropractic?
That's changing. Years of prejudice and bias are giving way to research showing the benefits of chiropractic care. As more and more La Crescent folks seek alternatives to drugs and surgery, more and more medical practitioners are referring their patients to chiropractors.
Can chiropractic relieve PMS?
If you have subluxations, especially in the lower spine that impair nerves that direct and monitor the reproductive and hormonal systems, chiropractic could be helpful. Undetected subluxations may also be responsible for pelvic pain, incontinence, sexual dysfunction and even infertility. Maybe chiropractic can help. Find out!
